Best Wealth & Protection Opportunities for 2021

As 2020 soon closes out, I think we all need a well-deserved break. I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas season and a blessed 2021.

I recommend you re-evaluate your financial plan and budget over the next few weeks so you can make adjustments or add missing important strategies. For your wealth planning, are you properly diversified? Are you missing any key components to protect what you work so hard to build? I hope you have a simple budget that clarifies your spending priorities and includes multiple savings accounts and an investment account for new opportunities.

Depending on what stage you are at in wealth planning, this will determine what is important to you. If you are in the beginning stages of planning, you will need to lay a solid foundation (late teens to twenties). The mid-phase is the accumulation period (the thirties to sixties) and the income stage (the sixties and beyond).

Best Opportunities for young planners:

  1. After you have your budget in place and your spending under control (meaning you spend less than you take in each month).
  2. Life Insurance: It is best to purchase life insurance when you are young and healthy. I can create a life-time strategy that is flexible and affordable.
  3. Critical Illness Insurance: The number one serious illness Canadian’s face is cancer. Over 70% of critical illness claims are cancer, and this disease does not discriminate based on age. Soberly, almost 50% of men will get cancer at some point in their life, and women are around 48%.
  4. Savings: TFSA, Cash and Gold & Silver. Gold’s 2020 return 22% and for Silver 35%. I forecast strong returns for both in 2021 based on several factors: Inflation, ultra-low interest rates, massive monetary stimulus and economic uncertainty.
  5. Investing: Crypto (small amount), and I provide crypto consulting to help you get started. Develop a passion for researching one or two investment strategies (real-estate, stock portfolio, business, commodities, trading, etc.) Never invest until you gain a solid knowledge of the asset class you want to consider deploying capital. All asset classes have risk, and you need to understand this before you invest. Bitcoins 2020 return 280%, and I expect solid gains in 2021 based on major institutional money embracing the sector.
  6. Travel Insurance: Always have coverage when you travel, and very affordable.
  7. Depending on your career choice, I can introduce you to other strategies and opportunities.

Career and Accumulation Phase (the thirties to sixties):

  1. Maintain a budget, regularly evaluate spending and make adjustments when needed.
  2. Make sure you have Life Insurance, Critical Illness and Disability Insurance in place. Life insurance offsets liabilities, protects loved ones, and pays for end of life expenses. CI provides a one-time tax-free payout with an approved critical illness (most plans cover 24 to 26 critical illnesses). DI provides a tax-free income if you get disabled, allowing you to focus on getting healthy again. I can provide advanced strategies for business owners wanting to protect their retained earnings.
  3. Personal Pension Plan (for business owners and professionals). Provides a superior way to build long-term wealth with up to 7 tax write-offs, where an RRSP only provides one tax write off. Also, you can accumulate a lot more wealth with this strategy compared to an RRSP. Top creditor protection with PPP.
  4. Health & Dental & Group Plans: Whether you are an individual or small business owner without medical or dental coverage, I can get you covered. For medium or larger business owners, we can get your team protected with customized and affordable plans.
  5. Mortgage and Banking Solutions: I have relationships with trusted professionals, whether you are an individual or business owner.
  6. Travel Insurance: Never travel without proper coverage.
  7. Savings: TFSA, Cash and Physical Gold and Silver (an insurance and hedge against poor fiscal and monetary policies). Gold 2020 return 22% and Silver 35%. I forecast strong returns for both in 2021 based on several factors: Inflation, ultra-low interest rates, massive monetary stimulus and economic uncertainty.
  8. Investing: Crypto (small amount), and I provide crypto consulting to help you get started. Bitcoins 2020 return 280%, and I expect solid gains in 2021 based on major institutional money embracing the sector.
  9. Develop a passion for researching one or two investment strategies (real-estate, stock portfolio, business, commodities, trading, etc.) Never invest until you gain a solid knowledge of the asset class you want to consider deploying capital. All asset classes have risk, and you need to understand this before you invest.
  10. Segregated funds can play a key role in creditor protection for business owners for a portion of their wealth.
  11. Discretionary Active Portfolio Management (100K minimum): Protecting your wealth is essential. Most Canadians have their investment portfolio in passive portfolios (no one is actively managing or protecting your wealth). I work with one of the top managers in Canada, and he will personally discuss with you your objectives and place you in one of five different funds to achieve your goals.
  12. Financial Education: I have conducted over 150 public seminars or lunch and learns over my career on a broad range of financial topics. I am passionate about educating my clients and helping them to make better financial decisions. I also offer free online webinars. If you would like to invite me to your business or organization to provide honest and essential wealth education, please reach out to me.

Income Phase of Life (the sixties and beyond)

  1. Accilent Capital offers an income fund.
  2. Segregated fund contracts focused on income for life and Annuities.
  3. Gold and silver: A hedge against monetary policies that destroy your purchasing power and the risks of global debt and economic uncertainty. Potential strong returns forecast for several years.
  4. Life Insurance for end of life expenses. I can get guaranteed issue coverage for most people unless a person has a life-threatening health issue.
  5. Travel Insurance: Always have coverage when you travel.

Please let me know if I can serve you in 2021.

Best regards,

Bill
